Terms, privacy and cancellation policy
This page explains the basic terms for using D-VOC, how we handle limited personal data, and how subscriptions can be cancelled.

1. Terms of Use
Welcome to D-VOC, a digital dance vocabulary and training platform operated by Cosamia Stage & Film Productions AB (“D-VOC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using D-VOC, you agree to the terms described below.
1.1 About D-VOC
D-VOC is an educational digital platform providing dance vocabulary videos, playlists, training tools, and related educational content for individual users, schools, teachers, organizations, and students.
The platform may include:
- Video streaming
- Playlists
- Training and self-testing tools
- Organization and classroom functionality
- Progress and training results
1.2 Accounts
Some parts of D-VOC require a registered account.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- all activity occurring under your account
- ensuring that your information is accurate
You may not:
- share accounts outside your licensed organization
- resell access to D-VOC
- provide unauthorized access to third parties
- attempt to bypass subscription or access restrictions
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
1.3 Subscriptions & Billing
D-VOC offers subscription-based access for individuals and organizations.
Subscriptions may include:
- recurring monthly or yearly billing
- trial periods
- organization-based seat licensing
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. D-VOC does not store payment card details directly. Subscription access continues until cancelled. Prices, plans, and features may change over time.
1.4 Cancellation
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
When cancelling:
- access continues until the end of the current billing period
- future renewals are stopped
- partial refunds are generally not provided for unused subscription time
Technical or billing issues may be reviewed individually.
1.5 Organization Accounts
Organizations purchasing multi-user access are responsible for:
- managing their licensed seats
- ensuring only authorized users access the platform
- managing invited teachers and students within their organization
D-VOC may limit the number of active users according to the purchased plan.
1.6 Intellectual Property
All content on D-VOC, including but not limited to videos, graphics, branding, text, training systems, and educational material, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Unless explicitly permitted, users may not:
- copy
- redistribute
- reproduce
- publicly display
- download for redistribution
- commercially reuse any D-VOC content
Access to D-VOC grants a limited, non-transferable license for personal or educational use only.
1.7 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse the platform
- interfere with system security
- attempt unauthorized access
- scrape or automate extraction of content
- reverse engineer platform functionality
- distribute malicious software
- use D-VOC unlawfully
We reserve the right to restrict access where misuse is suspected.
1.8 Availability
We aim to keep D-VOC available and functioning reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times. Features, content, or services may be updated, modified, or removed without prior notice.
1.9 Limitation of Liability
D-VOC is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosamia Stage & Film Productions AB shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profits, service interruptions, or third-party service failures resulting from use of the platform.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
1.10 Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swedish law and applicable EU regulations, including GDPR where relevant. Any disputes shall be handled under Swedish jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
2. Privacy Policy
2.1 Information We Collect
D-VOC collects limited user information necessary to operate the platform.
This may include:
- email address
- account type
- subscription status
- playlists
- training progress and results
- organization membership information
We do not store payment card information directly.
2.2 How Information Is Used
Information is used to:
- provide access to the platform
- manage subscriptions
- authenticate users
- save playlists and training results
- improve platform functionality
- provide customer support
- maintain platform security
2.3 Legal Basis (GDPR)
Under GDPR, we process personal data based on contractual necessity, legitimate interest, and legal obligations where applicable.
2.4 Third-Party Services
D-VOC uses trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. These may include:
- Stripe for billing and subscription management
- Supabase for authentication and database services
- Vimeo for video hosting and streaming
- Render for hosting and infrastructure
These providers may process limited personal data as necessary for their services.
2.5 Cookies & Sessions
D-VOC may use essential cookies or local session storage required for login sessions, authentication, security, subscription handling, and platform functionality.
D-VOC does not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
2.6 Data Retention
We retain user data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, maintain platform integrity, and resolve disputes. Inactive accounts may eventually be removed or anonymized.
2.7 Your Rights
Under GDPR, users may request:
- access to their personal data
- correction of inaccurate information
- deletion of personal data
- restriction of processing
- data portability where applicable

2.8 Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the account or billing system.
When cancelled:
- the subscription remains active until the end of the paid billing period
- no future charges are made unless the subscription is reactivated
D-VOC generally does not provide refunds for:
- partially used subscription periods
- unused time
- accidental non-usage
Exceptions may be made in cases involving:
- duplicate charges
- technical billing issues
- platform errors
Requests are reviewed individually.
